Homer home opener for the Trojans and they played a physical and challenging JE team. Homer did well possessing the ball and creating opportunities and goalie Marinn McKennan played very well for her JE team. Multiple shots for Homer coming from Cammy Cole (21) and Jane Gugerty (7). Emily McKcracken (22) was able to find the back of the net from a slotted ball by Taryn Quinn (10). Jordan Elbridge did create opportunities as well from Erin LaVancha (25), Riley Crawford (5), and Abigail Ahern (9), but were held scoreless by Homer defenders Morgan Robideau (13), Izzy Small (2), Caitlin McCloy (12), Taryn Quinn (10) and Catelyn Ensign (8). Catherine Apker (5) had 6 saves in the shutout effort.
