Homer opened up the scoring 8 minutes into the game on a gaol by Catherine Apker, and that would be Homer's lone goal of the night. Great defensive game for Homer as they battled a good Westhill team hard. Alex Kellaway had 15 saves in her efforts.
Westhill celebrated their senior night honoring their 12 seniors. They were able to get on the board 20 minutes into the game with a goal from Hannah Goodness. After the half Westhill came out firing on all cylinders gaining possession and keeping it for man opportunities. Elle Herrera was able to find the back of the net twice on some middle crosses and corner kicks. Great game played by Westhill heading into sectional play, and a wonderful night to recognize their seniors!
