    In a battle for the top of the Yale Cup, the Presidents fell just short, bowing to McKinley, 58-55, Tuesday night in I-Prep's Art Serrotte Gymnasium. The game came down to the final possession and with under 6 seconds Dante Gibson's triple attempt to tie things up was denied. It was a valiant match-up back and forth with the Presidents leading by 1 at half-time and 3 at the end of the third. Junior Emir Lindsay led Iprep scorers with 13 points (9 from the arc), while senior guards Dante Gibson and Versi Hawkins each added 10. Senior center Biel Douth had 9 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocked shots, and 5 assists. Seniors Omarion Arroyo and Angel Serrano added 8 and 5 points respectively. Dual point guards Dante Gibson and Angel Serrano distributed 9 assists while also garnering 9 steals. Iprep is now 12-5 overall and 7-2 in the Yale Cup League I. The Presidents will face East Buffalo this Thursday night for another key league match-up.
