    Iprep Varsity Boys improved to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in Yale Cup I with a come from behind victory against Bennett last evening. The Presidents continued positive momentum after winning the Wilson Invitational tournament against Tully (Central NY) and Wilson this past weekend. Senior Biel Douth, who was MVP of the Wilson Tournament, turned in another double double scoring 24 points and grabbing 13 rebounds for the Presidents. Douth was assisted by the strong senior guard tandem of Dante Gibson and Angel Serrano who contributed 11 assists together to spark the turnabout in the fourth quarter. Serrano finished with 14 points and 7 for 9 from the line while hitting the game's key 3-pointer with only a few minutes to play in the fourth. Serrano's trey came shortly after junior Emir Lindsey hit a triple from the opposite base-line. The two 3-point plays secured a five point lead for Iprep with 3 minutes to play. The Presidents were able to hold off the Bennett press in the final minutes to secure the victory. Lindsey finished with 15 points and senior Omarion Arroyo had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Iprep. Douth the center had 13 rebounds and Gibson garnered 9 steals from the Tigers. Iprep will host City Honors this coming Monday, December 12th, for a non-league contest.
