    Yesterday the Varsity Softball team finally kicked off the 2023 season, and they did it in convincing fashion! The Lady Eagles posted a 15-0 victory over visiting Fabius-Pompey. Leading the way in the field was pitcher Abby Delfavero who pitched a perfect game and posted 11 strikeouts. On the bases everybody in the lineup made it to base safely. Ava Hildebrandt and Abigail Ahern proved to be too fast for the visitors both stealing three bases a piece. Leading the way in the RBI department was Erin Lavancha who drove in five. Cameron Fraher led the team in hits with two. The Eagles next game is this Friday at home as they host Hannibal at 4:30.
