Coaches: Spring Weather Game Reschedules
Coaches, after many cancellations this past week due to spring weather, please update your schedules in your Coach Tools as your games are moved to new dates and times.
You can use the green calendar tool to reschedule a game that has been "cancelled" (PPD) to indicate a game is rescheduled from one date to another, or you can simply edit the event and show the new date and time.
This takes about 2 seconds and communicates to the media and community that your game will not be played. I can also have an impact on fans and families traveling to a game and coaches planning to attend to scout.

Welcome Spring 2024 Teams, Coaches, Players, and Fans
New Coaches: Be sure you are registered and approved to be Team Owners for your team. In some cases, you will find your schedules entered by the HSSS team. They will be entered once. After this, you as the coach/team owner will maintain them for any changes.
Questions: If you have any questions be sure to reach out to your committee chairs, or to us here at High School Sport Stats.
Good Luck: To all the baseball, softball, lacrosse, and tennis coaches. Remember to always enter your game/match scores on game night. Your colleagues can see team standings by the next day in school. Add your stats as soon as you can from game day. Team and player stats are updated in this way.

Coaches and Team Owners: If you need assistance editing night #2 of a tournament or adding a team added to the non-section opponents list, feel free to email HSSS at pkabel@frontiernet.net. This would be a great week to update your stats for the season so far.
Basketball Coaches and Team Owners: Entering your scores by quarter and stats from your scorebooks for a game takes about 5-10 minutes. FG/ATT, 3PT/3PT ATT, and FT/FT ATT from your score pages will update all scoring information for your players in the database as well as their player profiles.
Volleyball Coaches: It's a good week to get caught up on editing your schedules for accuracy, eliminate events on your schedule that may not need to be there. Get caught up on entering stats from your contests.
Ice Hockey Coaches: The site looks great. Check your schedules for accuracy and additions. Post a team photo.
Spring Coaches and Team Owners: Your Coach Consoles are LIVE! You may access them anytime and being entering schedules. If you are playing in out-of-state tournaments in the spring, and you need your opponents' names added to the non-section opponents' list, please email us and we will get it done for you now.
Coaches and Team Owners: This would be a great week to post your team photo to your Coach Console and team page. The new console makes it even easier. If you would like some help and have HSSS upload your photo feel free to email it to HSSS at pkabel@frontiernet.net.
Adding stats and your team photo are small things but work to make HSSS the premier world-class HS sports management website anywhere. It's fantastic for your players, their families, and the community. NOTE: On 2/1/23, sports using the Bradley-Terry Model for seeding will have access to the BTM. Having all scores will be very important since the rating take in to account every game played vs. your opponents and their schedules.

It's Holiday Tournament Week and a return to play as the season moves to tournament week, and toward January and the 2nd half of the season.
