International Prep improved to 6-2 on the season and 6-0 within Section VI with a come from behind victory, 77-70, over Middle Early College Wednesday night. The Presidents outscored the Kats, 31-17, in the fourth quarter, including 15 free throws, to secure an important league win. Junior Emir Lindsay led Iprep scorers with 27 points, while senior Biel Douth recorded his second triple double of the season. Douth had 11 blocked shots, 23 points, and 19 rebounds. Senior point guard Angel Serrano had 9 assists and 7 steals and 9 points. Senior forward Omarion Arroyo had 11 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Senior point guard Dante Gibson had 5 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals and two of the game's key 4th quarter drives to spur on the Iprep comeback. Junior Damone Lee turned in quality minutes on defense and at guard and hit important free throws in the first half. Iprep will next host CSAT on Wednesday, January 4th.
