    The second quarter was the difference in this semi-final contest at Buffalo State between the Presidents of Iprep and Niagara Wheatfield. The Falcons went on a 25-5 run and went in at half-time with a 24 point lead. The 3rd and 4th quarters were played somewhat evenly but Iprep was unable to put together a scoring run that would bring the game into close contention. The Presidents went cold on the perimeter after the first quarter and never quite recovered as Wheatfield's Alexander Fletcher, Luke Walck, and Shawn Watson combined for a potent scoring trifecta on the other end. Angel Serrano and Biel Douth led the Iprep scorers with 8 point each. Douth added 9 blocks and 3 rebounds and Serrano dished out 4 assists for the Presidents. Dante Gibson had a pair of triples to add 6 points for Iprep, while Emir Lindsay and Versi Hawkins each scored 4 points. Senior Omarion Arroyo scored 5 points and grabbed 3 rebounds, while juniors Jaydan Daniels and Nizer Smith each scored 2 points. Iprep finished the season with a record of 15-7 overall and 9-3 in the Yale Cup Large Schools League. The Presidents were Yale Cup runners-up, Wilson Invitational Tournament Champions, Class A-1 Semi-finalists, and made their first trip to Buffalo State since 2016. Iprep will graduate 7 seniors but will return several key underclassmen who will look to make the Presidents contenders in their league and in the A-1 classification.
