The vikings started out a little slow with Miranda Hackett scoring the only run in the first inning, but they were able to stop DeRuyter. Second inning Cassidy Will and Tori Foster were able to throw out a runner trying to steal home and Cassidy Struck out the other two batters. offensively the vikings left the bases loaded off of 4 hits but couldn't finish. In the third inning cassidy had two strikeouts and Tori Foster tagged out the runner headed to first. Miranda Hackett started the inning off with a triple and was brought home on a homerun hit by Riley Bartlett. fourth inning the rockets were able to score 3 runs on 4 hits. the vikings scored two on three hits. 5th inning rockets scored 3 runs on 4 hits. While Cassidy Will got up to the plate and hit a solo homerun. She was immediately followed by Paige Will doing the same thing. 6th inning both teams went 1-2-3.7th inning rockets score 3 to tie it up, then go 1-2-3 on defense. 8th inning Cassidy Will strikes out the first batter, catches a pop up from the second batter, and strikes out the third. Paige will hit a single to get on base and tori foster hit a single to drive her home to end the game.
