Indian River plated 10 runs in the top of the 7th inning to comback from a 4 run deficit and then help off a Watertown Rally in the bottom half to secure the playoff championship at the Watertown Fairgrounds. Leading the way for Indian River was Katie Call who had 4 hits including two doubles and a triple and scored four times. Victoria Noone had 3 singles Bella Davis three singles, Abby Backus three singles, Jasmin Acevedo four hits including a double and scored four times. Audrey Carrien also had two hits for Indian River. For Watertown Leading the was was Payton McConnell who went 4 for 5 with a double and three RBI. Montanna Evans was 2 for 3 with four runs scored. Mallory Peters was 2 for 4 with three runs scored. and Kimberlie DiLeonardo was 2 for 4 with three runs scored. The three runs scored for Dileonardo gives her 31 on the season which ties her for the school record established in 1985 by Robin Tenney.
Watertown and Indian River shared the A division title for the regular seaason. This was the first for Watertown since 2007.
