    In a rematch of last year's State Championship, the United scored two early power play goals while jumping out to 3-0 first period lead. The Comets had the only goal in the second period scored by Gretchen Grimm on an assist from Leola Johnson. Adirondack scored a late third period goal to secure the 4-1 victory. Goaltender Emily Payne stopped 39 shots in the loss.
