    Otselic Valley notched a win versus CCL rival DeRuyter with an 8-5 victory. The Vikings led off the scoring in the first with Lukas Schieferstein playing two RBIs with a first inning double. Troy Miller followed, playing another RBI with a single in the first to take a 3-0 lead. The Rockets battled back, tying the game at 5 in the 5th. Avram Moses broke the deadlock in the 7th, scoring on a past ball, and senior Braeden Davis played two with a clutch two out, RBI double. On the mound, the combination of Lukas Schieferstein and Troy Miller combined for 6 innings of work, holding DeRuyter to 4 hits and only two walked batters. Caleb Loomis pitched a scoreless 7th inning to shut the door and earn the hard fought Otselic Valley victory.
